Jin Jiang Pacific Hotel - Shanghai

Alwaysnice and neat with a timeless design.

Every time we stay in Shanghai, like to stay here. Charming old clean property, it has very-very nice staff particularly in the reception desk. The location of the hotel is fantastic, just next door to The Bund which is a must see at night when all lit up, train station, and Next to the subway station '' People's square ''.

I ate at a nice restaurant for breakfast.

Lekker stay in the heart of Shanghai 🇨🇳✨

Location was perfect-right by People's Park and Nanjing Road for shopping. Loved the old-school vibe of the building, really gives you that historical feel. The room was spacious and comfy, with a nice view of the park-lekker!

The bathroom was a bit dated, could use a refresh.

I had a lovely stay with comfortable beds and enjoyed the hot water pressure! Just note, Wi-Fi is only available in common areas. I'd definitely return!

Cigarette smell

Excellent location right on People's Square and East Nanjing Road, near the museums (urban planning, shanghai museum, etc). Also literally a 30 seconds walk to the metro station (3 main lines). Nice old scenic building and comfortable renovated rooms make for a wonderful combination.

Unacceptable reception staff that spoke virtually no English. They insisted that we pay for the whole stay (10 days) in advance, before we had even seen the room. The best deal we got them to accept was this: we paid for the first night (again, without even seeing the room) and next morning we paid for the rest. This kind of thing doesn't even happen in backpacker hostels...

The location is super convenient, just a 4-minute walk from the metro station. The rooms were spacious and really clean. One thing that stood out was the staff. As soon as we arrived, someone came to help with our luggage. Being right across from the vibrant people's park was a lovely bonus.

Location is the strong point of this hotel. Subway station is just across the road. Nanjing walking street is just very close so it's very convenient to do shopping and eating.

However, even though the lobby is quite impressive and well maintenanced, the guest room is quite old, view from window is bad. It would have better view for the room facing the main street. I had closed the curtain all the time during my stay. The hall way to the room is smelly.

Overall it was newly remodelled with a view.

Jin jiang is a charming place with a prime location very close to people's square metro. My standard business queen room was large, impeccably clean, and had a great shower.

The price is very good considering the location. It's in the heart of the shopping district, across the Road from a beautiful park with rides of children and it's close to a lot of tourist sites.

I didn't like the fact that they advertise both on the website and in their brochures that the have wireless internet but they don't! It's one of the main reasons why I stayed there and I don't like missleading advertising.
